3 The filter element uses microporous filter paper and the surface is treated. When the engine is running, the air filters dust through the micropores to ensure that clean air enters the cylinder. In use, a layer of dust adheres around the filter element. When cleaning, do not use water or oil to prevent oil from entering the filter element.

There are two common cleaning methods: (1) Tapping method, remove the filter element from the housing, gently tap the end surface of the filter paper to make the dust fall off. Do not touch the outer surface of the filter element to avoid damage to the filter element. (2) Blowing method, that is, use compressed air to blow the air in the filter element to blow off the dust. To prevent damage to the filter paper, the compressed air pressure should not exceed 0.2 to 0.3 MPa.

4 Clean and replace the filter regularly. 
In use, the air filter element should be cleaned regularly in accordance with the vehicle maintenance regulations to avoid increasing intake resistance, reducing engine power, and increasing fuel consumption due to excessive dust adhesion on the filter element . If the filter element is damaged, it should be replaced in time.

Specific analysis of the filtering function of small excavators:

The function test of the filter element has the following four aspects: 1 Flow resistance test, which measures the pressure loss of air activity. In the two original filter power experiments, you can calculate the dust collection capacity of the filter. The dust removal rate of traditional filter elements should be 99% or higher. Cumulative dust accumulation and cumulative output experiment. The accumulation of excess dust in the filter element causes clogging and increases air intake resistance. Reducing engine output to 5% or reducing fuel consumption to 5% are the limits required for cleaning or replacing filter elements.

In the original suction resistance test, the increased intake air volume must not exceed 3.2 kPa, otherwise the filter cartridge (the intake air volume, the additional filter element is the air intake volume required by the engine) will not be satisfied. It will pass the air intake filter and pressure engine requirements. Export. Together with the directional and cabin intake temperature and intake temperature, there is a connection close to the barrier, away from the barrier, intake manifold and intake requirements and high temperature components or as much as possible, but also avoid high temperature gas from entering the cabin intake cabin hot air Smooth discharge, so the cabin temperature can be kept as low as possible. In addition to the engine itself, the engine can also ensure normal operation.
