Make sure that the throttle handle of the diesel engine is in the middle speed position (after the roller starts to move to high speed). Depress the clutch pedal to cut off the power. Push or pull the reverse handle in the direction of travel. Determine the driving speed of the road roller according to the needs, and move the gear lever to the required gear. The first gear is the work efficiency, the second gear is the working and transportation speed, and the third gear is the transportation speed. It is only allowed to drive on a good flat road. Lower the wrench to brake. Release the clutch pedal. The following explains the precautions for operating the roller.
Precautions for operating the roller
The roller is walking forward or backward, and you should first test whether the foot brake is sensitive. Note: When stepping on the foot brake, do not use excessive force, and be careful not to forget to step on the clutch first. Turn the steering wheel and try it on the spot to see if the hydraulic steering gear is effective and reliable. Pull the engine throttle handle back to make the engine reach full speed.
Note: When shifting or reversing, the roller must first reduce the engine speed to reduce the speed of the roller; for shifting or shifting forward, the main clutch must be depressed, otherwise the gears will be worn or broken early. Then gently push or lightly shift or reverse the handle until the gears are fully engaged. When operating the reverse handle, the action should be smooth and rapid, and don't use excessive force. Put it in the middle position and stop for a while (about 10 seconds) to reduce the inertia of the roller driving forward or backward, and then turn the reverse handle and make it in place to ensure that the gears are fully engaged. When going uphill or downhill, use the first speed to drive, and the gear should be carried out before going uphill or downhill (shifting gears on a ramp is strictly prohibited) when going uphill, do not put the gear lever in neutral, and do not disengage the clutch. Emergency braking: Depress the clutch pedal. When using the foot brake, do not use too much force. In an emergency, you can tighten the parking brake at the same time. Try to avoid implementing emergency braking at high speed of the roller, otherwise the service life of the braking system will be reduced.
Precautions for operating the roller-the steering of the roller
Turn on the left turn signal or turn on the right turn signal switch, the corresponding turn signal will light up.
When the speed of the roller is high (third gear), the throttle handle should be operated to reduce the speed of the roller.
Turn the steering wheel to the left (or right) to change the roller
Note: Be cautious about steering operation to prevent the rear wheel of the roller from driving out of the roadbed or crushing the road curb.
Precautions for operating the roller-parking
Move the throttle handle to the middle speed position to reduce the speed of the roller. Step on the clutch pedal, place the reverse handle in the neutral position, place the shift lever in neutral, and release the clutch pedal. Pull up the parking brake. Gradually reduce the engine speed and run at idle speed for 3-5 minutes to lower the engine temperature. Then pull up the stall door and turn off the engine. Turn the ignition switch counterclockwise to the original position to cut off the circuit. Turn off the power switch.
